After busting the much-loved and sorely missed Shiner in the head, Allen couldn't put down his guitar for long. "Eric Abert is from Collinsville, IL. and hails from St. Louis proggy-poppers Ring, Cicada (Ed. note: name is said as a command, FYI. I thought it should have been Ring, Cicada, Ring!!). Their first and only full length release was recorded by Steve Albini and released on 5440 or Fight Records in early 2003.
"Allen Epley is from Louisville, KY. and hails from Kansas City heavyweights Shiner.
"Chris Metcalf is from sunny Kansas City, KS, and hails from local heroes Stella Link. Stella Link have just released their first full length disc, Mystic Jaguar...Attack! on Ascetic Records, and will be supporting this release into the new year, at least.
"The Life and Times is booked by Tim Edwards at Flowerbooking. Tim has what I like to call an "almost afro" hair style. Tim booked Shiner for 6 years before booking the 'Times."
